Fancy meeting you here!
I’m Kelly Bridge, its nice to meet you! I am a Senior User Experience Designer currently working for Amazon who's overly passionate about the digital world and how to navigate through it.
Professionally
I have over a decade of experience leading teams designing for data visualization, filtering, reporting, API integrations, and hardware-to-software relationships (just to name a few). I started out in Graphic Design and eventually blended that with my passion for code and product.
My work focuses on collaborating with product, engineering, and marketing teams to break down ambiguous and complex problems we then turn into cohesive, thoughtful designs that add value to our user’s daily lives. Together, we create a strategy that utilizes user research, an adaptable feature process, design systems, user testing, and best-practice patterns to deliver full spectrum, end-to-end experiences under tight deadlines.
I am specifically open to remote/hybrid positions (travel encouraged!) that will allow me to express my methodical creativity, problem solving, and mentorship while contributing to my overall goal of working in diabetic software. I am a type 1 diabetic (on a CGM and Omnipod) and hold that disease very close to my heart with hopes of being able to make a large impact to those who struggle every day just like me and my family.
Personally
Award winning fisherman.
Self-proclaimed 5 star chef.
Quite possibly the best mancala player this world has ever seen.
I am your typical 30-something Coloradan girl. When I’m not knit-picking over consistency and usability, you can usually catch me drawing lakeside, giggling with my friends over many cheeses, wandering in the mountains, visiting family on Cape Cod, snowboarding, playing my guitars, or crushing some preteens in Fortnite (UN: BassRiverBridge).
I approach every day with a strong sense of humor and comradery, often being referred to as the “hype-man” of the team or group. We’d all rather be on a yacht somewhere, but here we are, so we may as well make the most out of it and enrich one another’s lives along the way. I thoroughly cherish the working relationships that I foster and love using my passion for UX to build a life of positivity, gratitude, and consistent self improvement.
