Just a UX girl
living in a UX world.

One of my main passions is gathering real feedback from real people and leveraging that, paired with collaboration from engineering, to create unknown features that drastically improve the daily tasks of our users.

Here you see a 3D overlay map test that I conducted for our users on Visionlink: 3D Productivity Manager while working for Trimble, Inc. My main developer and myself created a quick prototype that I then took to a trade show to conduct and record feedback from random attendees. I was then able to iteratively design and test this and hand it off within weeks.

Invest in discovery and testing for your users.

Trust the process.

I am a big believer that no process is one-sized-fits-all. However, when a project is approached with structure and partnered with the genius people in your org, it shows in the final solution and can sincerely improve users workflows.

Here is a Warehouse Management System design we were working on for Amazon Distribution and Fulfillment Solutions. Our team started off with fairly ambiguous requirements and tight timelines. Together with our Rock star UX Researcher, UX Manager, and PM, myself and counterpart UX Designer set off on a week long tour of Distribution Centers across IL to gain direct associate feedback and flex our creative process, solving for a variety of personas and functionality requirements for our Inbound and Outbound dashboards. We were able to uncover unknown requirements, iterate on-site, and also document our learning as a case study to share with the broader team and utilize while continuously improving our products design process moving forward.
